Welcome to the CORNEA ENGINEERING website

     “CORNEA ENGINEERING” is a Specific Targeted Research Project (STReP) funded by the European Commission. It aims at reconstructing a human cornea in vitro, bringing together 14 research teams from 9 countries (Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom), including basic scientists, ophthalmologists and industrialists.

     "CORNEA ENGINEERING" is supported by the European Community under the Sixth European Union Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, thematic priority 3 Nano-technologies and Nano-sciences, Knowledge-based Multifunctional Materials, New Production Processes and Devices.
